Petting Farm & BunnyVille
Petting Farm
Kids absolutely LOVE our Farm Animals and Farm Animal babies! Our Petting Farm area is a favorite Manitoba attraction and the perfect place to introduce children to the farm. Our Petting Farm features lambs & sheep, goats & kids, calves, miniature horse and chicks earlier in the season. Children can learn about agriculture and food production as well as the very important role farm animals have in producing our food. Our animals are well cared for with daily feeding, watering and cleaning chores being done every morning and afternoon and throughout the day. We have a local vet who provides advice or delivers animal care when we need an expert. Farm animals are NOT indoor pets and spend the majority of their time outdoors grass on pastures where they can graze on the grass or sun themselves.
BunnyVille
BunnyVille is a special enclosure with a town of miniature buildings for bunnies to hide in. People of all ages can enjoy petting these soft & furry critters under staff supervision. In the wild, bunnies spend a lot of time hiding and living in small spaces - even underground. Domestic bunnies also like to have tight little spaces for them to hide in to feel safe. The smaller the space the more secure they feel. It takes a lot for a bunny to trust us so we don't allow them to be picked up by guests, that way they won't get dropped or mishandled.
