Built from the ground up by Vince & Liana Rattai and their family, Deer Meadow Farms began in 2009 with nothing but bare land, big dreams, and a love for country living. Through hard work, faith, and the support of their community, the farm has grown into a place where families can gather, explore, and experience authentic life in the country.

Deer Meadow Farms began in 2009 with little more than bare land, big dreams, and a family willing to work hard to bring those dreams to life. Vince and Liana Rattai, alongside their children, built the farm from the ground up — learning construction, farming, business, and problem-solving together every step of the way. In the early years, the farm operated without electricity or running water, relying on generators and hauled-in water while the family worked tirelessly to grow their vision.
As the farm continued to grow, so did the community surrounding it. Families, schools, and visitors quickly fell in love with the authentic country experiences Deer Meadow Farms offered. After outgrowing their original location, the Rattai family relocated and rebuilt the farm in 2017 on a beautiful 77-acre property closer to the city — a massive undertaking completed in just a matter of weeks through determination, faith, and incredible community support.
Today, Deer Meadow Farms is more than just a farm — it’s a place where families can slow down, connect with nature, experience life in the country, and create lasting memories together. Rooted in resilience, family values, and a passion for sharing country living, Deer Meadow continues to grow while staying true to the heart behind it all.
